I personally do not believe that food has any impact on your dreams, not do I believe that the color you are wearing when you sleep has an effect. As you consciously move about your day, your subconscious is taking notes on your surroundings. I believe that dreams are messages from your  subconscious about the things it notices, whether it be about your environment or yourself. If we can crack the codes that are our dreams we can better understand ourselves. 

Although, if you truly believe that they do have an effect on your dreams, then they probably will, via self fulfilling prophecy. Another important thing in psychology is “correlation does not mean causation.” Just because you have nightmares when you eat chocolate before bed doesn’t necessarily mean that is causing your nightmares. But to my knowledge, you can eat as much chocolate before bed without the fear of getting nightmares. 

It’s entirely possible that your shipping tendencies have to do with your sexuality. Its also possible that you are just content with that pair, and see no reason to ship anything else. That is the definition of OTP is it not?

I know from experience that when it comes to certain fandoms, the term “OTP” becomes lost in a whirlwind of shipping. Everyone is different, so they ship different. Some have a fleet, others have just one.
